• On 30.01.2023 Irini Tsagaraki was awarded the Konstantinos Tsirimokos Prize by the Hellenic Criminal Bar Association for “her capacity and ethics by criminal law practice and her contribution to criminal law”.

• Irini Tsagaraki participated as a main speaker on the topics of “Crimes committed by state officials: significant issues of evidence” and “Criminal Proceedings (Preliminary Investigation, Witnesses, Expert Assessment, Autopsy, Document Seizure)” during an educational program on “General Penal Law-Criminal Proceedings: The Greek Penal Code and the Greek Criminal Proceedings Code as supervising tools” (held by the “National Transparency Authority” on 12.10.2022).

• Irini Tsasaraki started teaching “Internal Market Law”/Distance Learning English Program – Master (LLM) in International and European Business Law at Neapolis University Pafos.

• The Greek Supreme Court (“Areopag”) accepted the request for revision filed by two defendants convicted of false statement and instigation to false statement and dropped all charges against them on the grounds of the statute of limitations (Court Decision Nr. 1177/2022).

• The Three Member Criminal Court for Serious Offences of Western Greece clears former company manager from charges of breach of trust and tax offences.
• Irini Tsagaraki started teaching “European Criminal Law”/Master (MA) in Financial Crime and Criminal Justice at Neapolis University Pafos.

• Greek Supreme Court (“Areopag”) accepted the request for revision filed by two defendants whose request for postponement of the hearing was falsely dismissed (Court Decision Nr. 931/2021, published in Poinika Chronika 2021, 584 f.).
